this document outlines the full procedure for installing mopyfish and obtaining all the points you'll ever need. if you've never installed mopyfish, just follow the steps listed in here. if you already have mopyfish installed, you'll have to figure out what to skip, or just perform all of the steps anyway.

installing mopyfish

if you haven't already, download the mopyfish.exe file from the mopyfish page. when prompted, save the file to your windows desktop or somewhere else that you can find.

double-click the file to begin the mopyfish installation. click the "accept" button to accept the license agreement. restart your compuer when prompted by the installation.

after restarting, run mopyfish from the icon in the start menu.

installing the free mopy points

download the freemopy.exe archive from the mopyfish page.

as above, double-click this file to install it. click the "unzip" button. when it finishes click the "close" button.

now click on the start menu, and then run... in the box type c:\mopyfish\brain.bat and click ok.

run mopyfish again from the start menu and click the shell in the bottom right corner. confirm that you have 65535 points. if not, double check this step. if you still have trouble, or when you complete this step email me.

installing the aphrodisiac fish food

download the kissfish.exe installer from the mopyfish page.

again, double-click the file to install it. click the "install" button. click "ok" when it's finished.

open mopyfish again and you should have another jar of fish food at the bottom, one will have a heart on it.

troubleshooting

q. the points worked yesterday, but now i'm back to 39 points.

a. you're using an older v1.3 free mopy points scripts with the newer v1.9a mopy installer. download and install v1.4 of the free mopy points.

q. what if i run out of points and need more?

a. with 61680 points, i doubt you'll ever run out. but, if you do just run brain.bat again as in the section above.

a. when i run the brain.bat batch file i get the error message "incorrect dos version". what's wrong?

a. you have the older version of freemopy.exe. i included the debug.exe file but then realized that it may not work on systems running a different version of the windows. simply delete the debug.exe file from the c:\mopyfish directory or download the latest version of freemopy.exe which will remove it for you.
